History

Asian Appraisal Company, Inc. (AACI) was organized in the Philippines under the name of Appraisers, Inc. on July 10, 1961 by American Appraisal Company, Inc., the  largest and the oldest appraisal company in the world together with prominent Filipino engineers and businessmen namely, Mr. Arthur J. Chanin, Mr. Cesar B. Lopez, Mr. Hernando D. Caluag, Mr. Jose D. Caluag, Mr. Albino Z. Sycip, Mr. Jose B. Fernandez, Jr., Mr. Sixto K. Roxas and Mr. Cesar De Zulueta.

AACI is the pioneer in the appraisal industry both in the Philippines and throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.

In the 1970’s, affiliates of the Asian Appraisal Group were established in Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

AACI is a diversified professional service company serving corporate, governmental, commercial, and other institutional clients. AACI and its affiliates stand today as the largest professional valuation organization operating throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.  We have accreditations from the Energy Regulatory Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, Philippine Stock Exchange, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, private and government banks, other government agencies, and private companies.

Recent foreign appraisal projects were undertaken in China, Indonesia, U.S.A., Japan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Australia, Brazil, and Vietnam.

Our long history and success over the years resulted in the development of systematic procedures and an extensive database both of which are vital in developing a sound and credible opinion of value. 

In any given year, service engagements for more than 2,500 corporate and individual clients are performed by AACI, including the majority of companies belonging to the top 2,000 corporations in the Philippines.  AACI's professional services have been called upon by various multilateral and international organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

AACI provides valuation services for corporate and individual requirements for the purposes of an initial public offering, sales, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, accounting, insurance, rate increase application at the Energy Regulatory Board, just compensation for expropriation proceedings, audit of completed/ work-in-progress of projects, and others.
